Description:
Premium Gem Panama-Pacific
1915-S Two and a Half
1915-S $2 1/2 Panama-Pacific Quarter Eagle MS66 PCGS. This powerfully struck and satiny Premium Gem is essentially immaculate and features rich khaki-gold toning. The eagle on the reverse is familiar to pattern collectors, as Assistant Engraver George T. Morgan used it earlier (with slight differences) on the reverse of his 1879 Schoolgirl silver dollar (Judd-1608). PCGS has certified only 19 pieces finer (6/09).(Registry values: N4719) (NGC ID# 26HK, PCGS# 7450)
