Description

1952 Washington-Carver Half, MS67
Great Eye Appeal

1952 50C Washington-Carver MS67 PCGS. CAC. The 1952 Washington-Carver half dollar saw the largest distribution by far of the various series issues, meaning the largest number remaining after unsold examples were melted. The net number disbursed was slightly more than 1.1 million pieces. Nonetheless, the issue has attained conditional rarity status, as Superb Gem examples of the 1952 have recently traded in the range of $8,225-$13,500. This piece displays great eye appeal over pristine surfaces that are mostly pinkish with accents of jade and blue. A top-notch example with the CAC endorsement, to boot. Population: 14 in 67 (1 in 67+), 0 finer (4/13).(Registry values: N1793) (NGC ID# BYL3, PCGS# 9434)
