Important 1802 JR-4 Dime1802 10C --Damaged, Bent--ANACS. AU55 Details. JR-4, R.4. The JR-4 die combination is the most easily encountered of the four known 1802 varieties. A truly amazing example, this specimen has prooflike fields with only a trace of wear. Minor damage occurs only at the final digit of the date, and it appears that these marks also caused a slight bend. Attractive light blue and iridescent toning is evident on each side. Even after accounting for the minor problems, this example easily qualifies for the Condition Census of the die pair.(Registry values: P7) (NGC ID# 236K, PCGS# 4472)
