Description

1805 JR-2 Dime, MS64
Four Berries Reverse

1805 10C 4 Berries MS64 NGC. JR-2, R.2. The obverse is cracked through ERTY and through the base of the date, with light clash marks through the top of the date and elsewhere. The reverse has light clash marks among the stars and above the clouds. This is the second use of the obverse die that was also used for the 1805 JR-1 5 Berries dimes, and the only use of the reverse die. The reverse is rotated 30 degrees clockwise, as often seen on this die marriage.
An impressive Choice Mint State early dime, this piece is boldly defined, save for the usual weakness at the borders. Both sides have brilliant centers with delicate iridescent peripheries. Census: 28 in 64, 27 finer (7/12).

This is why I like purchasing from Heritage, you are so customer oriented and with your size and my meager purchases it always amazes me how quickly you respond.
