Interesting 1805 Dime With Double Struck Obverse1805 10C 5 Berries XF45 ANACS. Obverse Double Struck. JR-1, R.3. Close examination is needed to see remnants of the 0 and 5 of the date that appear erroneously struck (180 degrees off) under LIBERTY at the top of the obverse. Only two die marriages of 1805 Dimes are known, and both have separate Guide Book listings. Both are now considered equally elusive. Deep steel-gray patina graces this lightly circulated Choice XF example, which is well struck aside from the central portion of the eagle's shield. The obverse has a few tiny ticks, while the reverse is nearly free from contact.
