Desirable 1803 Large 8 Half Dime1803 H10C V-2, LM-3, R.3. Reiver state a. Large 8 VF25 NGC. A lovely example of this variety which has clean surfaces, light gray toning and a sharp strike. This is the most common die marriage of 1803. The obverse was used on the V-1, LM-2 variety, and the reverse is new. These early silver coins are very difficult to find in grades above VF, and rarely are found without significant problems as seen here. A great collector coin for the variety or die state.
