Description:
PCGS 1802/1 AU 53. B-1-C, R.6. Struck in green-gold, with light coppery toning on the obverse. Neither side shows any adjustment marks but there is a small patch of planchet roughness (as made) near the M in AMERICA on the reverse. This is an obvious overdate, visible even to the naked eye, and shows the 1 squarely centered within the 2. This is a lovely, high grade example of this early American gold coin and one which will make a nice addition to any collection. (NGC ID# 25NX, PCGS# 8083)
