Description

Very Scarce Uncirculated 1810 Half Eagle

1810 $5 Small Date, Large 5 MS60 PCGS. Breen-6462, B. 2-D, Miller-113, High R.5. Well frosted for the grade, the surfaces are pleasingly colored in yellow-gold shades. This is a well produced coin, and there are no areas of mentionable striking softness. A few light, shallow abrasions seem to account for the MS60 designation, but the eye appeal alone would do justice to a higher grade. Among Capped Bust Left Half Eagles, the 1810 B. 2-D is more difficult to locate than the 1807, 1808, 1809/8, 1811, and 1812. Only 100,287 Half Eagles of all varieties were produced with this date.

This is why I like purchasing from Heritage, you are so customer oriented and with your size and my meager purchases it always amazes me how quickly you respond.
