Description:
1806 25C VG8 PCGS. B-10, R.5. A much better die pairing. B-2, B-3, and B-9 are the usually encountered non-overdate 1806 quarter marriages. This Very Good example has ocean-blue fields and stone-gray devices. All stars and peripheral legends are bold, although a worn area obscures all but the stem of the olive branch.
Ex: Pittsburgh Signature (Heritage, 10/2011), lot 3560, which realized $862.50.(Registry values: P5) (NGC ID# 23RD, PCGS# 5314)
