Description:
Off Center 1865 Three Cent Nickel
1865 3CN Three Cent Nickel--Struck 5% Off Center--Fine 12 PCGS. Although struck noticeably off center toward 10 o'clock, this first year type coin nonetheless circulated for some time, or perhaps it was carried as a pocket piece. STATES and the left side of the wreath show greater wear than the remainder of the coin, since the protective left side rims are absent due to the off center mint error.
