MS65 Mated Error Pair
2001-P Roosevelt Dime

2001-P 10C Roosevelt Dime Mated Error Pair MS65 NGC. Coin #1 is designated as Multi Struck, and Coin #2 is designated as Broadstruck with Brockage. It appears that the first strike for Coin #2 was normal. It was then struck a second time, between the obverse die and a newly fed planchet. The coin rotated 180 degrees between the first two strikes. Coin #2 was struck a third time, off center between the obverse die and another newly fed planchet, which became Coin #1. The date and mintmark is complete from the second strike of Coin #2. The mintmark and most of the date is present on Coin #1.
