Solms-Laubach. Christian August Taler 1754-IMF MS64+ NGC, KM25, Dav-2781. A beautifully toned coin commemorating the death of Count Christian August's third wife, Dorothea Wilhelmina. Darkly toned yet lustrous and subtly colorful, this almost certainly ranks among the finest known for this type. Being a commemorative, this type is often found in relatively good condition but this specimen still stands a head above most others. It is hard to imagine what one could find lacking in this lovely coin.Metal: Silver
