Description:
Choice AU 1850-C Gold Dollar
1850-C G$1 AU55 NGC. Variety 1. A crisply struck butter-gold example of this low-mintage Charlotte issue. Luster emerges from design crevices. No marks detract, although shallow strike-throughs (as made) are noted on the field near Liberty's shoulder. A minimal production of 6,966 pieces ensures a paucity of quality survivors. In a former-generation holder.(Registry values: N1793) (NGC ID# 25BG, PCGS# 7510)

If my clients were to auction something of significance, having Mike as the auctioneer would be a deal maker as far as I am concerned.
