Outstanding Gem 1851 Gold Dollar, MS66 PCGS1851 G$1 MS66 PCGS. A common P-mint issue through the lower Mint State grades, survivors at or above the MS65 level are infrequently available. It is hard for us to imagine a more lustrous gold dollar than the present Gem. Both sides show pronounced green-gold coloration and thick mint frost. There are no noticeable abrasions and the devices show pinpoint striking definition. Some die rotation is also noted on the reverse. A candidate for inclusion in the finest collection. (#7513) (Registry values: N4719) (NGC ID# 25BK, PCGS# 7513)
