Sharply Struck 1900 Cent, MS66 Red1900 1C MS66 Red PCGS. The 1900 Indian Head cent, with a high-mintage business strike count of nearly 67 million pieces, was not saved from circulation early on, and most examples are well circulated (Richard Snow, 2006). Beautiful copper-gold color takes on shades of apricot on the reverse, and a well executed strike leaves strong definition on the diamonds and feather tips. A few inconsequential fly specks are mentioned for complete accuracy. Difficult to locate in Premium Gem full Red. Housed in a green label holder. Population: 55 in 66 Red, 6 finer (3/07).(Registry values: N1793) (NGC ID# 228V, PCGS# 2207)
