Elusive San Francisco Issue
1909-S 1C MS65 Red PCGS Secure. Traces of lavender toning appear on the mellow orange surfaces of this frosty and highly lustrous San Francisco Mint Indian cent. The 1909-S is the second and scarcer issue of only two Indian cents produced at the California facility. This piece has pristine surfaces with exceptional eye appeal. PCGS has only certified 15 finer Red examples (3/13).(Registry values: N2998) (NGC ID# 2298, PCGS# 2240)
