Gem 1907 No Periods Indian Eagle
In-Demand First-Year Issue

1907 $10 No Periods MS65 PCGS Secure. The first-year 1907 Indian Head No Periods eagle issue, a collectible one fortunately for collectors, is overshadowed by the several fabulous rarities this year saw in both the eagle and double eagle denominations. Although almost 240,000 examples of the 1907 No Periods were produced, Gem specimens are always in hot demand among first-year-of-type collectors. As always, the mint luster is bright and shimmering, which explains much of the popularity of this first-year issue. The surfaces are orange-gold with no noticeable abrasions.

The Coinage of Augustus Saint-Gaudens as Illustrated by the Morse and Duckor Collections
Revised Edition by James L. Halperin, Mark R. Borckardt, Mark Van Winkle, Jon Amato, and Gregory J. Rohan, with special contributor David W. Akers

The Coinage of Augustus Saint-Gaudens is an issue-by-issue examination of these two artistically inspired series of gold coins. Each date and mintmark is reviewed with up-to-date information, much of which has never been previously published. The book is based on two extraordinary collections: The Phillip H. Morse collection and the Dr. and Mrs. Steven L. Duckor collection.
