This is one of the most superb gold coins issued by Jahangir, with inscriptions in Persian. The normal mohur weighed 10.90 grams, but the sawai mohur 25% more, or about 13.60 grams. These were struck solely as presentation pieces for high officials at court or foreign dignitaries who had won the Emperor's favor.
