1793 AMERICA Chain Cent, Fine 15 PCGS

1793 Chain 1C AMERICA Fine 15 PCGS. S-3, Low R.3. The 17 in the date is more widely spaced than the 93. UNITED is faint, while the remaining legends are legible. The chain device, denomination, and fraction are bold, and Liberty is well outlined and retains some details of her eye. A charcoal-brown representative with mildly granular surfaces and a pair of relatively deep pinscratches that originate near nine o'clock and ten o'clock, respectively, on the obverse rim, and travel inward toward the center of the coin. Liberty's cheek and the right obverse field have a few noticeable abrasions. The dies are slightly rotated counterclockwise. (#1341) (Registry values: P5, N4400) (NGC ID# 223F, PCGS# 1341)
