Description:
1794 1C Head of 1793 Good 4 NGC. S-17a, B-1a, R.5. Joseph Wright's Liberty Cap design, introduced in 1793, carried over for the first few varieties of 1794. This pleasing two-tone piece has the sharpness of a VG cent with minor surface roughness and a small pit mark at the upper right branch of the wreath. However, none of those defects discouraged NGC from grading this specimen. Tan highlights appear on the devices with dark olive fields. Our EAC grade Good 6.
