S-266c, Two Cuds
1804 1C -- Corroded -- ANACS. VF30 Details. S-266c, B-1, R.2. The late die state with cuds over RTY and MERIC. A midgrade example of the famous 1804 cent. Just one die variety was used to coin the date. This mahogany-brown example is mildly glossy. Evenly defined save for softness on the second S in STATES. Portions of the reverse are moderately granular and show traces of verdigris. The obverse is smooth save for a minor spot at 4 o'clock. Our EAC grade Fine 15.
