1864 $20 -- Spot(s) Removed -- Genuine PCGS. The PCGS number ending in .98 suggests Damage as the reason, or perhaps one of the reasons, that PCGS deemed this coin not gradable. In our opinion, the piece has the details of an AU specimen that has had a spot removed and shows reverse surface damage. The yellow-gold obverse is moderately abraded, while the reverse shows a spot-removal scrape to the left of the eagle and a number of other digs and disturbed areas. (NGC ID# 269S, PCGS# 8941)
