Bright 1841-O Eagle1841-O XF 40 PCGS. Struck from a mintage of just 2,500 coins, the 1841-O eagle boasts the lowest mintage of any ten-dollar issue from 1839 to 1859. Only a small number of pieces grade VF-XF, and higher grade examples are of the utmost scarcity. This specimen is bright green-gold and while it is brighter and sharper than one might expect for this grade, it does show numerous contact marks and abrasions. (NGC ID# 262J, PCGS# 8583)
