Description:
1844-O $10 AU53 NGC. Variety 4. From the same die pair as the famous and unique Parmelee branch mint proof. While that coin is uncollectible, one can at least afford the present example coined from the proof dies. A moderately abraded but original and well struck New Orleans ten with generous luster within the reverse legends.(Registry values: N2998) (NGC ID# 262T, PCGS# 8591)
