Description:
Lustrous Uncirculated 1853 Liberty Ten Dollar
1853 $10 MS60 NGC. A relatively high mintage issue but the vast majority of survivors are XF or less with Mint State pieces quite elusive, as are most gold coins from this decade. The yellow-gold surfaces are typically marked for the grade. Fully lustrous.

The marketing was exceptional from the photos to the ads in Civil War Times and North South Trader for the cross over people!!! I have had many emails from my Civil War collecting fraternity that saw these and I saw them at the national show in Nashville/Franklin in early December.
