Description:
1853/2 $10 AU 50 PCGS. This is a lightly worn, yet problem-free survivor of this scarce overdate variety. The stars display noticeable bluntness of strike, but the central features are boldly defined for the grade. The rich color is orange-gold in shade and there are no individually mentionable abrasions. Remnants of the underdigit are evident within the lower loop of the 3. (NGC ID# 263E, PCGS# 8611)
