Description:
1855-O $10 XF40 NGC. Genuinely rare in Mint State, the 1855-O eagle was produced to the extent of only 18,000 coins in antebellum New Orleans. This Extremely Fine coin is somewhat abraded but still mildly prooflike, with nice orange-gold color. A couple of scrapes through the date require singular mention. Census: 12 in 40, 82 finer (5/09).
From The Kiawah Collection.(Registry values: N1793) (NGC ID# 263M, PCGS# 8617)
