1857 $10 MS62 PCGS....
Splendid Mint State 1857 Coronet Eagle1857 $10 MS62 PCGS. This is the Finest Known and only MS62 graded by either service of this date. The surfaces are very attractive and the coin displays lovely mint bloom. Fully struck by the dies with no signs of weakness found. Both the obverse and reverse die have light clash marks, on the obverse they are located in the field adjoining Liberty's lowest curls, and on the reverse they reside just right of the base of the eagle's neck. A classic condition rarity that will be a highlight of an advanced collection. There are no hoards nor shipwrecks known which might contain these Philadelphia coins, and it is unlikely that another mint state specimen will pop up out of the woodwork to best this coin.
