Description:
Desirable Uncirculated 1861 Eagle, MS60 NGC
1861 $10 MS60 NGC. With a respectable original mintage of 113,233 pieces, it is little wonder that the 1861 is a readily obtainable issue through the AU level. Above the Mint State threshold, however, this issue becomes surprisingly scarce. A lustrous, partially reflective example, the surfaces glow with yellow-gold patina. The focal features are sharply defined and the scattered abrasions are consistent with the grade. (#8633) (Registry values: N2998) (NGC ID# 2647, PCGS# 8633)
