1874-CC Liberty Head Ten, VF351874-CC $10 VF35 PCGS. The 1879-CC Liberty Head eagle is one of the rarest Carson City tens, with a reported mintage of 16,767 pieces. In Gold Coins of the Carson City Mint, Doug Winter estimates a surviving population of 65-75 pieces, but a few more examples have turned up in recent years.
