1875-S $5 AU55 NGC. A predictably scarce S-mint from a scant mintage of 9,000 pieces, being particularly elusive in lesser worn grades. Offered here is a moderately abraded example bathed in reddish patina. A touch of striking softness is noted on Liberty's highest curls and the eagle's neck.
