Description:
Conditionally Elusive 1840-O Liberty Quarter Eagle, AU55 PCGS
1840-O $2 1/2 AU55 PCGS. The 40-O is a scarce and underrated early O-mint Quarter Eagle, and is even more challenging than its small mintage of 33,580 pieces would suggest. Weakly defined at the centers, each side presents a subtle green-gold appearance. A highly collectible, near-mint example.

I received the catalog and was very impressed with its color illustrations, descriptions and attractive layout. (It has better production values than the New York houses.)
