Description:
1843 $2 1/2 AU58 NGC. CAC. Rich yellow-orange color is the dominant characteristic of this earlier Coronet quarter eagle. Slightly soft on star 2 and the eagle's left (facing) wing but otherwise a well struck coin. NGC has graded 20 Mint State examples (9/11).
