Description:
Mint State 1858-C Quarter Eagle
Just 9,056 Pieces Issued
1858-C $2 1/2 MS60 NGC. A luminous straw-gold representative from the legendary Charlotte Mint. A scant 9,056 pieces were struck, and Mint State survivors are highly elusive. This example is free from remotely noticeable marks and is well struck for an antebellum Southern gold issue.(Registry values: P2) (NGC ID# 25JH, PCGS# 7787)
