First-Generation Holder
1880-S $1 MS65 PCGS. Large S. The obverse is delectably toned with rainbow hues at left fading through to plum and blue-green. The reverse is semiprooflike and minimally toned save for a light scattering of haze and a tiny die dot at the knot of the wreath. This eye-catching "Gem" is housed in a first-generation PCGS holder, so throw out the price guides on this one. Who knows how high it will go?
