Superb Gem 1887 Morgan Dollar1887 $1 MS67 NGC. Without a doubt, this is one of the most common dates in the entire Morgan Dollar series, except in Superb condition. In fact, less than 200 examples have been certified by both PCGS and NGC for this date, when in MS67 or finer quality, and only two of those coins received a higher grade. This is a frosty and Superb Gem with remarkable eye appeal. Both the obverse and the reverse are fully brilliant without any evidence of toning. Like other MS67 examples in this offering, careful examination with a magnifier is necessary to find even the smallest ticks on the surface. Population: 147 in 67, 1 finer (9/05).
