Sold for: Not Sold
Auction Ended On: Apr 6, 2001
Item Activity: 6 Internet/mail/phone bidders

Location: Indianapolis, IN
Description:
1854 Large Cent Pattern, Judd-161 Original
1854 P1C One Cent, Judd-161 Original, Pollock-187, R.4, PR 62 Brown PCGS. The design is similar to that on production large cents except there are no stars on the obverse, and the diameter is smaller. Struck in copper with a plain edge. The surfaces have a uniform, medium brown patina over both sides. Curiously for a pattern, the wreath is not completely struck up on the reverse. Not a real defect, per se, just an interesting numismatic tidbit. (PCGS# 11663)
