Pattern 1855 Flying Eagle Cent, Judd-168 Original
1855 P1C Flying Eagle Cent, Judd-168 Original, Pollock-193, R.4, PR62 Brown Uncertified. The obverse shows a hook-neck eagle surrounded by thirteen stars with the date below. The reverse is similar in design to the large Cent, but the wreath is smaller. Struck in copper or bronze with a plain edge. Medium brown patina is streaked over both sides with golden-orange colors intermingled throughout. A spot in the obverse field above the date is worthy of mention. (PCGS# 11720)
