Description:
Popular Transitional 1858 Indian Cent Judd-208
1858 P1C Indian Cent, Judd-208, Pollock-259, PR65 NGC. Breen-1940, Snow-PT28, Die pair 2. The Judd-208 subvariety with a centered date, a broad bust point, and five leaf laurel wreath clusters. One of the popular 'transitional' patterns from 1858, very similar to the 1859 regular issue Indian Cent, which has a narrow bust point and six leaf laurel wreath clusters. Struck in copper nickel alloy with a plain edge. A gorgeous golden-brown Gem with pleasing reflectivity and a hint of softness on the tips of the headdress feathers.(#11885) (PCGS# 11885)
