1858 Indian Cent Pattern, PR651858 P1C Indian Cent, Judd-212, Pollock-263, R.4, PR65 NGC. The obverse dies are the same type used to coin regular-issue Indian cents from 1860-1864, with a centered date. The reverse features the ONE CENT denomination inside an oak wreath with shield. Struck in copper-nickel, with a plain edge. This issue was sold as part of 12 piece sets issued by the mint circa 1860. The present coin exhibits sharp striking details, with reflective fields and fiery red surfaces. Included is an Eagle Eye Photo Seal certificate signed by Richard Snow.
