Description:
Copper-Nickel Hooked Neck Eagle Cent Pattern, Judd-206
1858 P1C Flying Eagle Cent, Judd-206, Pollock-242, R.5, PR64 PCGS. The obverse displays a hook-necked eagle flying left with the legend UNITED STATES of AMERICA above and the date below. The reverse is the same used to coin regular issue Flying Eagle cents. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. The surfaces are bright and light in color from the copper-nickel alloy with no trace of toning. Fully struck in all areas with a few specks of carbon scattered over each side which define the grade. (PCGS# 11877)
