1859 P50C Half Dollar, Judd-235, Pollock-282, R.6, PR62 PCGS. Struck in silver with a reeded edge, Liberty is seated left with fasces and shield. The reverse features a traditional eagle with a shield, arrows, and an olive branch. The ribbon near the eagle's beak is not broken, a diagnostic for Pollock-282. This attractive pattern has pale apricot patina and a bold strike. A short charcoal toning streak follows the 9 in the date, and the fields have a few wispy hairlines. (PCGS# 11960)
