Description:
Unusual 1864 Pattern Cent in Copper-Nickel, Judd-356B
1864 1C J-356B, Unlisted in Pollock, R.8, MS66 NGC. Weight: 2.8 grams. One of only two or three experimental pieces struck in 87% parts copper and 13 parts nickel with regular-issue Indian cent dies and a plain edge. A brightly lustrous example with a sharp strike and no mentionable marks and quite probably the finest known. One dark toning spot on the left side of the wreath is mentioned for pedigree purposes. A worthwhile experimental alloy striking. Currently, this is the only example certified by either service (6/06). (PCGS# 72299)

This is why I like purchasing from Heritage, you are so customer oriented and with your size and my meager purchases it always amazes me how quickly you respond.
