Colorfully Toned 1864 Pattern Quarter, Judd-384
1864 25C Quarter Dollar, Judd-384, Pollock-452, Low R.7, PR63 PCGS. Regular dies obverse and a reverse that depicts a perched eagle with outstretched wings holding an olive sprig and three long, slender arrows in its claws, as designed by Anthony Paquet. Struck in silver with a reeded edge. Both sides are layered in intermingled blue, violet, and orange-gold iridescence. A thin scratch is noted in the right obverse field between Liberty's knee and star 12. (PCGS# 60555)
