1865 10C Ten Cents, Judd-421, Pollock-493, High R.7, PR62 Red and Brown PCGS. This extremely rare dies trial piece is struck from regular issue Seated Liberty dime dies, but in copper with a reeded edge. Orange-gold borders accompany salmon-pink fields and devices. A dark blue area encompasses portions of Liberty's waist. The top of the wreath is softly defined, although the strike is penetrating elsewhere. Encapsulated in an old green label holder.
