Description:
1865 Three Cent Nickel in Copper, Judd-411
1865 3C Three Cent Nickel, Judd-411, Pollock-482, R.7, PR66 Red and Brown PCGS. The design on both sides is similar to that used on regular issue 1865 Three Cent Nickels except the ribbon ends are longer and merged with the lower reverse border. Struck in copper with a plain edge. Splendid orange and rose iridescent highlights add immeasurably to the appeal of this scarce off-metal striking.
