1869 Standard Silver Dime, Judd-709
1869 10C Standard Silver Ten Cents, Judd-709, Pollock-788, R.6, PR 65 NGC. Standard Silver issue with only one star at the front of Liberty's head on the obverse. The reverse has 10 CENTS in the center, surrounded by a wreath of oak and laurel, with STANDARD SILVER 1869 around the margin. Struck in silver with a plain edge. Deep cobalt-blue and rose patina conceals the underlying hairlines. A lint mark on the cheek of Liberty serves as an identifier for anyone who might be interested in tracing this coin's pedigree.
