Description:
Pleasingly Original 1870 Standard Silver Ten Cents
1870 10C Standard Silver Ten Cents, Judd-837, Pollock-928, R.5-6, PR 65 PCGS. Standard Silver design with Liberty wearing a cap with three stars and a scroll beneath, while the reverse has STANDARD 10 CENTS 1870 inside a wreath of cotton and corn. Struck in silver with a reeded edge. The otherwise lavender-gray toning scheme reveals electric-blue undertones on both sides. The proof qualities are largely concealed from view, but there is not a single hairline or contact mark of note. (PCGS# 61081)
