Pleasing 1870 Judd-845 Copper Dime1870 10C Standard Silver Dime, Judd-845, Pollock-944, Low R.7, PR64 Brown PCGS. Standard Silver Design B: Liberty wears a diadem with her hair tied in a bun as more fully described for Judd-702. The reverse carries the denomination and date inside a wreath of corn and cotton with STANDARD above. Struck in copper with a reeded edge. Sharply detailed with attractive mahogany-brown surfaces and subdued luster rather than the usual mirrored fields. Although patterns are generally described as proofs, this piece could easily be described as a Mint State specimen.
