1870 25C Standard Silver Quarter Dollar, Judd-897, Pollock-1004, High R.7, PR64 Red and Brown PCGS Secure. CAC. Ex: Stonewall Collection. A bust of Liberty faces right with UNITED STATES OF AMERICA around and IN GOD WE TRUST on a ribbon below. Liberty wears a diadem inscribed LIBERTY. The reverse shows 25 CENTS and the date 1870 within a wreath of cotton and corn with the inscription STANDARD above. Struck in copper with a plain edge. The obverse is bright red with deeply mirrored fields and exceptional eye appeal. The reverse is mostly orange-gold with an area of steel-gray toning near the date. A fully struck specimen of this rare Standard Silver entry.
